Legislative bases, terminology, sources of information. Practice of evaluation environmental impacts in Estonia. Setting and handling alternatives, evaluation criteria, structure of report. Peculiarities of evaluation environmental impacts, legislative bases of their strategic evaluation, classification of strategies, programs and plannings, and ascertaining the necessity of evaluation accompanying them.

To give an overview of the concept and stages of evaluation environmental impacts.

Students after completing the course know the principles of evaluation environmental impacts and orientate in applicable legislation which regulate the subject.
