General description

Research object of ecology. Ecological factors. Ecological system, notions that describe it. Ecological global problems and their connection with the speciality. Notion of environmental protection, its application and connection with the speciality. Impact of the field of activity on the environment (different wastes, resource use, radon pollution).

General aim

The objective of the course is to provide knowledge about ecology, basic notions of the field, ecological global problems as well as to teach the skills of connecting the studies with the speciality, to form environmentally sparing value judgments.

Aim

Students after completing the course have obtained the principles of ecology that have been determined with the curriculum; understands and can assess ecological global problems; can connect these theoretical and global problems with speciality; gives esthetical assessments to phenomena.
