General description

Parking facilities. Traffic calming. Vertical planning. Traffic planning of city centres. Small architectural elements in street space. Traffic safety. Public transport. Preliminary exam: Street design and parking solution for the detailed plan of an area with apartment blocks or public buildings.

General aim

To obtain specific knowledge in street and road design.

Aim

Students after completing the course have learned the requirements of drawing up road designs; have obtained basic knowledge in designing roads and are able to use these knowledge in the capacity of planning; know how to draw up parking solutions and can use them in their later work while working out environment-saving solutions in planning urban space.
