The Biedermeier style, historicism and eclecticism of the 19th century. Application of synthesis of arts in the late 19th century and early 20th century. Art Nouveau. The new concept of interior in Functionalism. Art Deco. Modern interior concepts.

To give a whole vision of the development of interior and furniture through the history.

Students having completed the course know the principles of history of interior and furniture, and the factors influenced their development - the social processes, different styles and trends.
