General description

Room program of a public building. Functional chart. Positioning in environment. Parts of site plan. Preliminary exam: term project - Project of a public building (a shop, a café, a bar, a bank, a welfare house, etc or a combination of them) considering a real site. The project includes: plans, elevations, sections, architectural nodes, a housing layout and an explanatory letter. The course ends with assessment where the project is defended in public.

General aim

To introduce the principles of designing a public building and to work it out in term project.

Aim

Students after completing the course are able to analyse spatial environment, to depict spacious objects (plans, elevations, perspective views). Modelling skills.
