Room program. Functional chart. Positioning in environment. Parts of site plan. Choice of construction type and building materials. Preliminary exam: term project - Project of a summer cottage considering a real site. The project includes: plans, elevations, sections, a housing layout and an explanatory letter. The 3D drawings of the project are fulfilled manually. Project stage - EP, part A. The course ends with assessment where the project is defended in public.

To introduce the principles of designing a summer cottage and to work it out in term project.

Students after completing the course have obtained the ability to design a small-scaled building
