| Types of waste management constructions: waste ground for mixed municipal waste, hazardous waste, or inert waste. Definitions. Principles. Waste generation and classification. Requirement for a waste ground. Location. Feasibility study. A detailed plan. Procedure requirements to establish a waste ground. Preliminary design. Construction permit. Main project. Landfill permit. Use. Closure. A research based on an overview of one Estonian landfill will be compiled. |

| The object of the course is to give an overview of the system of waste management, the location for a waste management construction, and planning of the concerning land. |
