Programmes family of Bentley. DGN-file. Starting Micro Station and generating a new drawing. Different work modes. Settings of workspace that influence the result and efficiency. Workspace configuration. Element attributes and selecting methods. Element manipulation and modification tools. Level system and using filters. Creating a new file. Drawing tools and their settings. Snapping to point on elements. Text elements and text styles. User-defined line styles, creating, using and importing them. Cells, creating and using them. Hatching and pattern. Using complex elements. Reference files and their settings. Raster files, using and parameters. Drawing tool AccuDraw. Key-in commands. Dimensioning and dimension styles. Creating and using models. Printing basics. Creating printed output in Micro Station V7 and V8. Using pen tables. Saving to other file formats. Batch convert. Using non-geometrical attributes. Introduction to 3D. General aim
The objective of the course is to provide the students practical knowledge and skills for the use of the computer programme Bentley Micro Station in everyday work as an engineer.
Aim
Having passed the course successfully the student:
- can compile with the aid of the computer programme Micro Station geodetic technical drawings, necessary in the work as an engineer.
