General of car transport. Passenger transport and freight. Cars with work equipment and special tools. Freight. Terms. Carriage. Package. Dangerous goods. Selection of vehicle. Standards applied to duty vehicles and its luggage space. Axle load calculation. Cargo fastening. Cargo fastening tools. Cargo safety. Organisation of carriages. Passenger transport. Terms. Public and commercial transport. Special regular transport. Occasional transport. Selection of vehicle. Traffic safety on passenger transport. Client service standards. Cars with work equipment and special tools. Terms. Typical work equipment and special tools. Traffic and work safety.

General aim
Course gives the very basic knowledge and practical skills for working in transport company. It introduces road transport organization, its technical equipment and utilization options. First knowledge of haulage rules are obtained.

Evaluation methods
Completion conditions: student has participated at least 60% of lessons. All individual assignments have been completed. All written assignments have to meet criteria presented in instructions of written works for TTK. Portfolio is recommended. Preliminary examinational work. Course has to be completed at least satisfactory level.
