General description
Faculty's lecturers deliver the series of lectures introducing what architecture is about. The course finishes with presentation by students according to final assignment.
General aim
To create basics in order to orientate in architectural discipline.
Aim
student
- knows the history and theory of architecture and of the related arts, technologies and humanities;
- understands the development of art culture and the processes taking place in modern architecture and urban development;
- understands the social role of the profession and ethics of architect.

The course includes series of lectures and student's presentations

Independent work: Preparing for presentations and reading recommended literature.
