General description
Combined bending and transverse bending; genesis and distribution of normal and shear stresses in cross-section of a beam; making up diagrams of shear forces and bending moments, dangerous cross-sections; interrelationship between bending moment, shear force and intensity of loading; principle of rational position of supports; strength calculation in bending; choice of rational cross-section; equation of elastic curve of a beam and determination of displacement; rigidity calculations in bending; statically indeterminate beams; combined deformations; oblique bending; excentric compression; strength calculations in case of combined deformations; buckling deformation.
General aim
To develop studentsŽ engineering-technical way of thinking, necessary for specialists of applied architecture in their further everyday work.
Aim
Students after completing the course have obtained the knowledge which help to understand the subsequent special courses, and is necessary in their further everyday work.
Form description
Lectures, independent home tasks, tests. The course ends with the examination.
