General description

Safety precautions in hot forming; tools, machines and equipment used in free forging. Thickening, straightening, stretching, bending material, changing profile, punching swelled holes. Forging of nail and poker. Forge welding. Hardening and drawing of steels.

General aim

The aim of this training is to introduce the principles of hot forming of metals - forging as a specific approach to machining of details. This training also allows to experience the physical properties of metals.
