General description

Art historical overview about the development and processes in art history from pre-historic drawings up to Baroque paintings and sculpture (pre-historic cave paintings and statuettes. Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Cretan-Mycenae and Greece fine art. Etruscan and Roman fine art. Medieval sculpture and mural paintings. Fine art in the time of Renaissance and Baroque.

The aim of the course is to give the basic knowledge about the history of art based on cultural development of mankind.
