Curriculum: Transport and Traffic Management 2019
Study OutcomesThe student who has passed the curriculum in full amount has the following competencies:
- is familiar with terminology of transport and traffic management and the relevant legal regulations; - is familiar with current problems in the field of transport and traffic management and is able to propose appropriate solutions; - is familiar with basic concepts and theoretical foundations of transport and traffic management; - is able to collect work-related information and use it creatively; - has necessary communication skills and possess work-related information and communication technologies; - is able to participate in project teams; - understands his role as a citizen in the labourworld and in society in general; - is able to defend his standpoints in transport and traffic management debates; - understands and is able to evaluate the role, results and possible consequences of his professional activities; - is able to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in his daily work and understands and is ready to continuously improve his professional skills. The learning outcomes achieved on completion of the curriculum are in line with the requirements of level 6 of the qualifications framework. Study Start RequirementsCompleted secondary education in Estonia or education of an equivalent level obtained in a foreign state.

AimThe general objective of the applied higher education is to prepare the student for work in the chosen specialty. Depending on the specialization, the curriculum provides knowledge and skills in transport and traffic management, whether in road or railway transport.
