- has a systematic overview about the principle notions and terminology of the speciality; - knows how to use engineering basics of calculation in product development, designing and running technical systems; - knows the materials, their characteristics and technological processes, equipment and instruments; - knows the measurement techniques and the methods of quality control; - knows the basics of entrepreneurship, basics and economics of production management; - knows basics of marketing and market research methods; - is able to formulate the problems connected to the field of technology, is able to analyze and find different solutions; - is able to evaluate the found solutions based on modern technology opportunities and from the economic point of view; - possesses the communication and management skills necessary for working life.
