General description
The course, which consists of lectures supported by laboratory work, will make an introduction to theory hydro- and aeromechanics as well as to practical side of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Although, largely the course will deal with hydraulics, pneumatic systems are also covered. Moreover, laboratory work is mainly based on construction of pneumatic systems.
General aim
The general aim of the course is to give basic theoretical and practical knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic drives, their usage and accessories used in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Aim
After completing the course, students have basic knowledge of hydro- and aeromechanics, of principles of how to use hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and its components, of basic safety requirements dealing with named equipment.
Skills obtained:
• Finding connections between knowledge received from the course and other fields of science.
• Using theory in solving practical problems.
• Using practical experience in solving theoretical problems.
Form description
Theoretical study: 48 hours - lectures and examples
Individual study: exercises, study of theory.
Laboratory work: Use of pneumatic components.
