| General description |
| The course introduces nowadays architectural topics from the point of view which has emerged since the Postmoderne period. Another aim is to analyze, develop and write an essay about the chosen theme by the student, which could help to find theme for the diploma work. |

Student
- knows the history and theory of architecture as well as of the related arts, technologies and humanities;
- understands the development of art culture and the processes taking place in modern architecture and urban development;
- understands the social role and professional ethics of architect. |

| Form description |
The course is built up from the 3 parts; 1) Reading thoroughly the selected articles as home work 2) Discussion in the class 3) Theme-related presentation
Discussion in the class can be done in English, so to get used to express oneself in the foreign language. The presentation is to bridge between theory and practice. |
