| General description |
Main requirements for indoor climate, main requirements for external perimeters, main notions of thermal physics (porosity, humidity, thermal transmittance, thermal conductivity, thermal capacity, thermal radiation and thermal absorption), cold bridges, thermal resistance of a perimeter, temperature regime of a perimeter, thermal assimilation, air tightness, humidity regime of an exterior perimeter, control possibilities of thermal technical quality of the perimeter structures of buildings (thermography).
Learning the types of a heating, ventilation system and energy efficiency. Among it getting introduced with the materials, principles of construction and work of the systems as well as with building these systems and their construction technology. |
|
| General aim |
The objective of the course is:
-to provide the students various knowledge about the thermal technical properties of building materials and perimeter structures
-provide knowledge about economical building and exploitation of heating and ventilation systems. |
|
| Aim |
The student:
- knows the thermal, water vapour and air transfer processes that take place in the perimeters of a building and can take them into account at building real subjects;
- knows the main requirements for the indoor climate of facilities;
- can perform thermal technical calculations of perimeter structures manually as well as with the aid of computer programmes.
- knows the types of heating and ventilation systems, materials, system components and
their construction technology;
- is able to evaluate the design of a heating and ventilation system and the construction
quality;
- can observe on the object the construction technology of the given systems and
organise the work in accordance with a time schedule. |
|
| Form description |
| The course is mainly carried out in the form of lectures, where theoretical knowledge is gained. For mastering practical skills and computer programmes also practical classes take place. |
