| General description |
| Students choose one particular company and analyze it's supply chain as well as company's logistics system by focusing on one specific product or product category. The supply chain is analyzed throw mapping company's physical, information and financial flows so that all of Porter's value chain primary activities are covered (inbound logistics; operations; outbound logistics; marketing and sales; service). The cost analysis and assessment of the costs management within the supply chain has to be constructed so that it covers all primary activities individually. |

| General aim |
| Analyze in details company's logistics system from the view of physical, information, and financial aspects. Identify the problem (bottleneck), develop the research strategy and to carry out a constructive analysis. Provide problem solving with argumentation - tie both the theoretical background and the applied assessment. Assess the economic profitability of proposed solution. |

| Aim |
The student knows
• supply chain and company's logistics system;
• primary activities of company's logistics system and it's support activities according to Porter's value chain principle.
The student is able to:
• set up a project team and implement the project work mwthods;
• identify the problem, and link it to the nature of the company's logistics system's main flows (physical, informational, financial flow);
• develop a strategy suitable solve the problem and to collect additional information in a correct form;
• analyze and evaluate the project's final results. |

| Form description |
| Course duration 8 weeks (stationary study); 4 academic sessions (distance learning). 100% contact-based learning during the semester that is based on theoretical aspects from subject Company´s Logistics System Management (TLM495). Contact lessons are held in the form of seminars (discussions and presentations of intermediate group work results). The groups are formed out of 5 - 6 students max. |

| Evaluation methods |
Logistics Project is prepared in accordance with the requirements of TTK UAS students' writing tasks requirements. The volume of work is a maximum of 30 pages of A4 format. The work belongs to the evaluation, which takes into account the content of the work, the accuracy of formating as well as the oral presentation in the presence of fellow students.
