General description
Study and career planning. Self-awareness: my interests, skills, capabilities, values. Setting goals and sticking to them. Time planning and finding the most suitable strategy. Different study styles and methods.

General aim
The goals of the course is to analyze one´s interests, skills and capabilities and through this to build up the most suitable plan of actions to manage studies (and life). During the course students learn to understand their thinking and action patterns (self-management, time management, and study methods). Alternative possibilities are introduced and tested and students find the most suitable study methods for themselves.

Aim
After completing the course, students: - can analyze their interests, skills, capabilities, needs and value system, character and understand relations between self-awareness and career planning - know how to set goals and make plan of actions to manage their lives - can use different time management techniques and analyze the effectiveness of their use of time - analyze, what kind of learners they are and how this effects their studies - knows the main study skills and the techniques to improve these - on the basis of self-analysis can improve their studies
