General description
Work with the texts on speciality. Lexical and grammar exercises on the texts, exercises for developing speaking skills. Practised vocabulary: descriptions of clothes - skirts, dresses and trousers; accessories; colours and patterns; pockets; collars. Grammar topics: adjective forms in singular and plural. Independent work: compiling and presenting a dictionary (topic " Vocabulary for describing clothes")

General aim
A course of special language for the students of RR and TD curricula. The goal of the course is to improve special vocabulary and train oral speciality-related communication.

Aim
After completing the course the student: - is able to explain the speciality-related problems in Russian (within the framework of studied topics); - is familiar with special vocabulary and can communicate with clients orally; - is able to report texts on speciality.

Form description
Lessons in the classroom and computer lab. Independent work.

Literature
E-object "Vocabulary for describing women's clothes in Russian, German and English: flashcards and exercises". Materials compiled and selected by the lecturer.

Evaluation methods
1. Grammar test. 2. Check of independent work (special dictionary): 150 words in minimum, half of them in active use; presented in printed form, without mistakes and with correct translations. Oral answering. 3. Final project at the end of the course: oral describing of clothes (without a dictionary). The assessment criteria are presented to the group at the beginning of the course.
