General description
Drafting patterns for menswear (shirt, west, trousers, jacket, suit, coat), differences between items according to their purpose. Openings, collars, hoods, other details. Toiles and industrial patterns. Drafting patterns for childrenŽs wear Designing items for production by unification and standardization. Industrial patterns, grading.
Kimono, raglan and combined sleeves.
General aim
The aim is to give students knowledge about basic patterns and their further adaptions according to fashion and purpose.
Aim
On completion of the course a student can make patterns for menŽs and childrenŽs clothes, knows the principles of grading and can form a family of clothes by unified patterns and technology.
Form description
Lectures, practical training, independent work carried out by workgroups.
