Stress and burn out. Manager's and company's image. Managing of team work. Manager's various roles. Planning, organizing, delegating and informing. Application of motivation theories in management practice. Solving of work conflicts. Directing of problem-solving discussions. Theory and styles of leadership. Components of organizational culture. Culture of an innovative organization. |

| Overview of contemporary concepts of management theory. Ability to understand the manager's behaviour in an efficient business organization. Understanding of group processes and of a business organization as a human communication model. |

Students
- are familiar with various management and organization theories;
- are able to analyse and evaluate the impact of personal behaviour on group processes;
- are able to organize and motivate team work;
- understand the development of social responsibility of an organization;
