General description
Classification of sewing businesses according to production types. Fundamental concepts of production. The order as the basis for production. Supply sources of sewing materials, supply budget. Ordering of materials, stock, warehousing. Fabric quality control, defects and physical-mechanical parameters. Product chart. Standardization of fabric spending. Layout. OPTIPLAN. Spreading. Basic process of cutting. Equipment. Assembly of pieces. Documents. Sending of pieces onto the production line.Requirements of designing technological processes. Types of technological lines, work arrangement, process type. Stages of designing the technological process. Selection of models and materials. Selection of processing methods and equipment. Efficiency of product processing. Operation-based work allocation: production task, tact of process. Work allocation and analysis. Technological scheme and its analysis. Putting work places on a plan.
General aim
The aim of the course is to interconnect the previous knowledge of material study, equipment, technology and costume composition; to gain knowledge of the process of creating, producing and selling of clothing collections; organizing work in preparation, cutting, sewing and completion processes; technological sequence and work allocation of the product making proces
Aim
A student knows the principles and stages of the cutting and sewing business management; is able to organize work in single- and multi-fashion production lines; is able to solve various problems.
