General aim
The objective of the course is studying the knowledge and skills in the field of the design of railway devices and components, necessary in professional work in accordance with the professional standard of a railway engineer.

Aim
Having passed the course the student: - knows the design programmes of railway devices; - knows and can use the requirements of the design documentation; - can use the designs in the field of railway.

Form description
Lecture, independent learning with the aid of computer programmes in e-learning, compilation of practical works and their defence.
