The aim of the course is to give the student a basic knowledge of the railway stations, travel centers and transport hubs.
To introduce the processes that takes places in the railway stations, travel centers and their sequences.
To give an overview about work planning and occupatonal safety of those units. |

After passing the course student:
- is able to define types of the railway stations, travel centers and transport hubs
- can bring out their similarities and differences
- is able to connect tehe equipment and buildings of the railway stations with the character and cappacity of work in that station
- can describe the parameters of the station by the tech maintenance act of station
- knows requirements of gauge on the railway
