| Railway road economy; railway carriage economy; railway traffic organisation principles on railway lines; railway traffic organisation principles at railway stations; railway traffic control devices; schemes, measures, ways in carrying out technical operations and their connection with the planning of the process of the carriage of goods; usage of legislation in planning the carriage of goods and passengers; procedure of accounting the haulage payments of goods and charge for other services. |

to provide knowledge about:
- substructures of railway economics;
- organisation principles of railway traffic;
- technical means, used for traffic control;
- legislation, rules and accompanying documents in the transportation of goods and passengers in local and international connection;
- the division of the process of the carriage of goods, implemented via railway transport, into parts;
- the cost calculation of single operations and the whole process of the carriage of goods. |

Having passed the course he student can:
- describe the substructures of railway economy and via the functioning of them connect the work of a railway transport as a whole;
- use the legislation and rules in planning the processes of the carriage of goods in international and local connection;
- formulate the organisation principles of the carriage of passengers and the structure of the rules of the carriage of passengers;
- divide into parts the processes of the carriage of goods, made via railway transport;
- calculate the cost of single operations and the whole haulage process. |
