| General description |

- Characterization of the region and an outline of the features of freight destination-country;
- The legal background of departure, transit and destination countrys in scope of goods haulage,
national characteristics;
- The analysis of possibilities to use various modes of transport under considered situation;
- Selection of means of transport, justification for the choice
- Projection of the transpordtation process: selection and planning routes, traffic-schedules;
- Required documentation for transportation- international bill of lading (CMR), TIR, use of transport
permits;
- Marking of freight, cargo label, package selection;
- Load configuration at the loading area, fixing devices and fastening the load, if free space available,
opportunities to use it at maximum;
- Evaluation of forces impacting goods during transportation;
- Definition of potential risks in present situation. Proposals for risks handling;
- Cost accounting in the transport, fixed costs, variable costs, calculation of the cost-price, the structure
of costs in transpot;
- Formation of a freight-cost, giving a bid to the consignor. |

The course aims to implement prevoiusly acquired theoretical knowledge concerning goods haulage
technology in practice - i.e. use of existing opportunities of IT implementation in practice and its
analysis, the acquisition of its own project-handling experience and skills, deepening students' written
work by the formalization. |

- Is able to plan, organize and coordinate international transport in accordance with legislative acts and
social norms;
- Is cognizant in planning of means of transport and, the use of the unit and the loading compartment;
- Is capable to eficiently plan drivers' working hours and wages records;
- Can identify risks, on the basis of the situation can determine and identify risk factors, evaluate risks;
- Is competitive in using software that is used in transport manager's everyday work equipment;
- Can calculate the maximum cost of transport, transit time and set standards of quality;
- Plans optimal transportation route;
- Can make the price-offer to the consignor and expalin its ground;
- Can form the contract of carriage and is competent in formalizing othet neccesary documentation;
- It able to analyze the cost of transport as a whole and the chance within its individual components -
according to present data is able to meet decision;
- Can justify decisions above in front of opponents. |

Final repot is prepared in written form in accordance with TTK written work formulation guidlines.
Capacity is a minimum of 15 pages. A4 letter-sized form 12th. Final grade forms out of work content,
the level of formalization and oral presentation. |
