KOV country and support. Government procurement. Standards of service. Monitoring and accountability. Requirements for passenger business: license, vehicle card and responsibility for transport the person . Organization of national and international carriage of passengers. Documentation of passengers. Work organization. Responsibility. The price of transport and its evolution. Income and expenses. Estonian passenger market and its development. Passenger transport politics, the general trends. Experience in other countries.

General aim
The course aims to give the basic knowledge of passenger transport organization which is required by the legislation of the public transport.

Aim
After compliting the course, the student is able to operate as the responsible person in the company, that works in the field of passenger or public transport. The student is able to organize the work of the company according to the legislation concerning the carriage of passenger.

Lectures, seminars, groupworks, projects, visiting the public transport company.
