| General description |
| Non-renewable and renewable energy sources. Timber, peat, brown coal, coal, anthracite. Motor fuels, their additives and analysis. Exhaust gases of motors, their composition and toxicity. Oil. Natural gas. Lubricants, their additives and analysis. Bio fuels. Liquid bio fuels: bio-ethanol, bio diesel fuel. Bio methane. Biomass. Environmental pollutions, caused by fuels and lubricants and the liquidation of such pollutions. |

| The objective of the course is to provide an understanding of renewable and non-renewable energy sources, fuels and lubricants. The impact of energy sources on the environment is dealt with. |
