General description
ntroduction of the user interface of the computer programme AutoCad - menus, icon bars and a command bar. General principles of drawing - absolute, relative and polar coordinates, units, a scale. Object selection possibilities. Operation modes ORTHO and OSNAP. Moving the virtual image of a technical drawing and changing its size. Drawing possibilities - Line, Circle, Rectangle, Offset, Mirror, Chamfer, Fillet, Trim, Extend, Rotate, Arc, Move, and Copy. Inserting letters (single line text, multi-line text). Adding a measuring chain. Different drawing layers. Object properties and changing them. Entering hatching patterns on a technical drawing.

General aim
The objective of the course is to introduce the general principles of drawing of the computer graphics programme AutoCad and main drawing possibilities.

Having successfully passed the course the student: - can use the main drawing possibilities in the programme AutoCad;
