| The objective of the course is to give an overview of different types of waste and their treatment. |

Having passed the course the student:
- knows speciality-related terminology, types of waste and their collection methods and
- can analyse possible types of waste that form in the waste formation place;
- can find the most suitable collection system for a specific waste type and direct the waste into treatment. |
