|
| General aim |
| The objective of the course to provide an understanding of the processes taking place in natural environments (primarily in the atmosphere and bodies of water) from the standpoint of the laws of mechanics, molecular physics, hydrodynamics, thermodynamics, and optics and to introduce specific topics in environmental physics: energy conversion and transmission, circulation of matter, air pollution, noise and radiation, interconnecting the issue with environmental technology and equipment. |
|
| Aim |
Student:
- knows the physical essence of environmental processes and
- can assess environmental problems, connected with urbanisation. |
