General description
During the practice the students usually have to work as the assistants of marketing-, project- or sales manager. Content of the practice: management activity (structure of the organisation, documentation that regulates the activities of the subunits, overview of the enterprise personnel); marketing activity (products, services, their development, market competition, segmentation of the market, price policy, marketing channels, sales support, role of personal sale and participation in fairs); solving the technical questions related to the enterprise development (reconstruction, implementation of new equipment and technologies).
General aim
The aim of the practice is to obtain working experience in an enterprise that sells manufacturing-, development- or engineering materials/products. Another aim is to gather information for diploma thesis.
Aim
The student is aware of the structure and management activity of the enterprise. Is able to describe and analyze the entrepreneurship environment related to the enterprise. Is able to analyze the enterprises marketing activity and offer solutions. Is able to use and create technical documentation. The student has communication and information technology skills. Is able to take part in leading the teamwork.
Form description
8 weeks of practice in the enterprise takes place on the 6th semester
Evaluation methods
Summative Evaluation on the basis of the student characterization by the enterprise, thesis project and presentation.
