General description
Introduction of different machines and cutting process. Student will learn basic technology how to turn, mill and grind according to technical drawing.
Safety procedures in working with metal cutting machines.
General aim
Course aim is to develop knowledge and skills for working with different metal cutting machines and basis for future self-improvement.
Aim
Student who is passed the course knows metal cutting process. Knows how to compose operational chart, is able to work with turning, milling and grinding machines. Knows how to set up metal cutting machine and is familiar with safe working principals.

The final course mark is arithmetic mean of minimum of 3 practical assignments. Practical assignments are graded according to technical documentation compose by student and by given mechanical drawing
