General description
The basic terms of management. The nature of contracts and specialities of undertaking contracts in construction are explained. Liabilities and responsibilities of the parties in general as well as special cases are commented. Motivation. Human resource management: the role of the manager, main activities. Communication systems in organisations. The nature of tax planning and expenditure control and their place in creating an integral system of construction arrangement are explained. A survey is given on construction insurance and its place in the system of construction arrangement. The principles of the structure of construction enterprises and functioning and reporting are dealt with.
General aim
The aim is to give to construction-field students the basic knowgledges about the nature of management and methology, to present the specific questions of construction management.
Aim
Positively estimated student knows the main methods of management, could implement the knowledges to manage the small company or the devision of big company, knows the main request of human resource management and quality management in construction sector.
