General description
Definition of spatial planning. The related legislation. Types of planning. Essential role of detailed planning in desinging the environment. The structure of detailed planning. Overview of the planning process. Terminology.
Composition of the detailed planning project. Drawings and explanatory notes.
The course contains a theoretical part and a practical one - compiling a project.
General aim
The aim of the course is to provide knowledge on spatial planning. The students learn how to read materials on planning and make a simple detailed planning independently under the lecturer's supervision.
Aim
After completing the course the student is familiar with the basics of planning and legislative acts, understands different types of planning and is able to participate in drawing up a detailed plan.

Evaluation methods
To complete the course the student has to pass a test, an analytical work, a practical work and draw up a draft detailed planning, which contains a drawing and explanatory notes. The lowest passing grade is "2" - "satisfactory".
