Integration using trig identities or a trig substitution. Definite integral. Integration as summation. Finding areas by integration. Volumes of solids of revolution. Differential equations. |
| General aim |
| The aim of the course is to give deepen knowledge in indefinite and definite integrals, ordinary differential equations and their applications in geometry and mechanics. |
| Aim |
| Students after completing the course are able: to calculate indefinite and definite integrals, and apply the knowledge in solving different tasks in geometry and mechanics, can solve the first order differential equations. |
| Form description |
| Lectures, practical classes, independent work (solving tasks, preparation for tests and exam). |
