| The objective of the course is to give an overview of digital maps and also how to compile, update, test and use them |

| Having passed the course the student knows how to compile a map. S/he knows hoaw to digitalise and update maps. The student can make the difference between screen and vector maps, knows the technology of satellite pictures, s/he masters the use of digital maps. |
