| Traffic components, road user groups, traffic-related statistics, driver and his environment, tiredness, driving under the influence of alcohol, reasons of fatalities in road traffic, eco-driving. Prerequisite subjects: Traffic Instruction |

| Aim of the course is to provide knowledge about traffic safety, traffic-related statistics, legislation and information sources, basis of the eco-driving, commitment and possibilities of the road users to ensure the traffic safety |

After completing the course student:
1) is familiar with the focal problems in Estonia and Europe
2) is familiar with traffic-related legislation, statistics and information sources
3) is able to evaluate the threats in road traffic
4) is able to follow the different measures in every day work to ensure the safety in traffic |
