| General description |
| During the course the students master knowledge in the following fields: calculation of loads; properties of concrete and reinforced steel; general basics of the design of reinforced concrete structures; construction requirements of buildings and constructions. |

| The objective of the course - reinforced concrete structures - is to master the skills of calculations and design, to use contemporary technological solutions and analyse the bearing capacity of structures |

| After completing the course the student has a systematic overview of main concepts, calculation models and their application possibilities; is able to implement the mastered knowledge and skills in work; knows how to use material economic solutions, taking into account ethical aspects; feels responsibility for the work results; can show initiative at starting projects and has management and teamwork skills; is able to train him/herself continuously further in the field of work. |
