| General description |
Reviewing and commenting of business texts; oral and written communication; describibg trends/graphs; exercises on difficult language structures.
Topics:
- Impact of practical training on finding future employment;
- Work environment; writing a CV and motivation letter;
- Written communication ( Emails, memos, accepting/refusing appointments)
- Business letter ( order, reclamation, price enquiry)
- Oral communication (telephone calls)
- "Small talk" topics;
- Advertising, its aim, role and impact on customer;
- Entrepreneurship, company structure;
- Team work, handling of conflicts;
- Marketing, product presentation;
- making and analyzing of a presentation. |

| General aim |
A business language course for the students of all curricula.
The aim of the course is to develop the business language vocabulary and practise both oral and written communication in this field. |

| Aim |
After completing the course the student
- can write business letters;
- can write a CV and motivation letter in German;
- is able to review business texts;
- can make a presentation of a company/a product;
- analyzes a sample presentation, pointing out its good aspects and shortcomings;
- masters the professional vocabulary within the studied topics and is able to use the knowledge successfully in similar work situations. |
