General description
The program of the course is based on the regulation No10 - REGISTER OF PURPOSES OF BUILDINGŽS EXPLOITATION - by the Ministry of Economy and Communications which came into effect on 01.01.2003. The course includes lectures, a test and excursions to different types of buildings(theatre, church, cinema). At the end of the course a room program and a functional scheme for a certain building will be assessed.
General aim
To explain the peculiarities of basic types of buildings according to their function, exploitation and location. To teach how to use corresponding regulative acts, standards and other directive materials of Estonia, and how to use coherent literature while designing the room programs and plan solutions for different types of buildings.
Aim
Students after completing the course are able to use acts, standards and other directive materials regulating design and construction in Estonia, and how to use coherent literature while designing the room programs and plan solutions for different types of buildings.
