General description
A teaching of building productivity, building processes, good building custom and labour safety requirements. Concrete works. Assembling reinforcement. Quality control over reinforcement. Assembling and disassembling formwork, quality requirement for formwork. Concrete works in winter, in summer.Short overview about main mistakes made in concrete works. Assembling concrete skeleton and big prefabricated buildings and steel structures. Roof works. Thermal isolation works.

General aim
The aim is to give basic knowledges of building technology of reinforced concrete, prefabricated building elements, steel structures, roof works, thermal works and estimateing the quality of building works.

Aim
The student who has passed the course: 1. knows the definitions of main construction works and most common technological solutions; 2. is able to estimate the quality of building works; 3. dependending on the type of task is able to apply different mark up and measurement techniques.
