| Checking and adjusting geodetic instruments - theodolites, levels. Founding a planimetric control. Tachometric survey of an area. As cameral works figuring out the coordinates and heights to the control points and compiling and formatting a plan of the area. Surface levelling and the construction of contours. A layout of the grade points with polar coordinates method. Layout of design heights. |

| The objective of the geodesy practice is to provide the skills of founding geodetic controls and tachometric survey as well as compiling an area plan. |

Having successfully passed the geodesy practice the student:
1. Is able to plan geodetic work;
2. Is able to use geodetic instruments (theodolite, level);
3. Is able to compile an area plan;
4. Is able to stake out reference points. |
