General description
Work with speciality-related texts, reporting and writing summaries. Topical grammar and vocabulary exercises, speech developing exercises. Compiling and making speciality-related presentations.

General aim
The aim of the course is to introduce and practise the basic professional vocabulary and to develop the listening, reading and speaking skills through interactive and communicative activity. After completing the course the student - can explain the speciality-related issues within the field of the discussed topics; - can make a company presentation; - is able to communicate with clients orally.

Aim
Learning outcomes The student is familiar with professional vocabulary, is able to participate in speciality-related discussions in Russian and can make a speciality-related presentation.

Form description
Practical language classes (pair work, group work, role plays) and work in the computer lab. Independent work: compiling a vocabulary; making a presentation "Indroduction of a company".

E-course "Vene keel B1 (Business language)" (Quality sign in 2011). The materials compiled by the lecturer.

Evaluation methods
Evaluation methods 1. Written tests 2. Oral presentations Compiling and presenting a vocabulary of professional expressions - 150 words in minimum, one third of them actively used. The evaluation criteria are presented by the lecturer at the beginning of the course.
