General aim
Structural Elements II is a continuation to the course Structural Elements I.
The objective of the course is to provide the students knowledge about the built up of buildings and the structures being used. During the course the students compile independent homework that is a preparation for the later architectural design in the courses "Dwellings" and "Public and Industrial Buildings".
Aim
Having passed the course the students must know:
- structural schemes of different buildings;
- structures, used for building different elements of buildings and assemblies of buildings that
occur more often;
Knowledge about building materials and their fields of application in constructing buildings has to be deepened.
Form description
