General description
Speech-developing exercises, texts for reading, reporting and commenting, writing summaries, presentation, work with dictionary. Topics: Studies and work. Higher education. Company presentation. Oral and written communication at work. Environment. Development of technology. Grammar: verb tense forms ; noun and its declension, adjective and its declension; Independent work: 10000 characters of speciality-oriented text.

General aim
Special purpose language course for the students of all curricula. The aim of the course is to develop the students' four components of language competence - listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through interactive and communicative activity and expanding their professional vocabulary.

Aim
After completing the course students are able to understand and communicate orally and in writing on the following topics: his/her speciality, studies and work; can write business letters.
