| An overview of standard documents, instructions and other supplementary materials. Practical usage of technical mechanics in design. Design basics of building structures. Properties of materials and products. Values of geometric parameters. Loads of building structures. |

| The objective of the course is to provide the students knowledge about the basics of design. Among other things additional standard documents, necessary for designing steel structures are studied. |
