Objective:
to introduce the basic knowledge of information technology, informatics, system analysis, programming, process modelling, process management, simulations and webservices.

Learning outcomes:
The student
- knows basic terms of information technology and informatics;
- is able to work by using text and table processing software;
- knows the basics of process and system modelling;
- is able to perform simulations of company’s logistics system;
- is able to compose initial task to work out and develeop logistics software;
- is able to communicate with system analytics and programmers;
- is able to work by using enterprise resource planning systems and knows the functions of different software modules;
- is able to identify the shortages of enterprise resource planning systems and is able to compose the initial task for eliminate shortages;
- knows different logistics software, is able to work by using logistics software, identify shortages and compose initial task for eliminate shortages;
- orientates in different Web sites, is able to find necessary information and to use it;
- is able to use different transportation and logistics interactive enviromnets, is able to find and upload necessary information.
